Hi, I’m Ivy, and I’m so happy to see you here. 🙂
Maybe you don’t know me yet, so let me introduce myself.
I’m 34 years old, and to be really honest, I’m still figuring life out. I feel like I lost 30 years trying to fit into a frame that clearly wasn’t made for me. It made me feel so miserable and so far away from my true self and left me completely overstimulated and overwhelmed in a world that moves so fast. So, at 30, I decided that I needed to do something about it. For the first time in my life, I wanted to do something for myself.
At that point, I had a vision: me getting healthy, finding myself, and then sharing it all on a blog to help others do the same. But back then, I felt like no one would want to hear what I had to say. I felt I was too broken, too ugly, too unliked, too this, too that.
Now I’m 34. I’ve worked really hard on myself to learn that trauma doesn’t define me, that I’m still only at a quarter of my life, and that I’m allowed to dream, take care of myself, and let go of all things that aren’t meant for me. This is my turning point! Creating this blog is me saying: no more! No more self-sabotage, no more being led by fear. No more letting anything get in my way.
I’m here to live this human experience, so why not try everything I want to try before it’s too late? Who cares anyway? If people dislike what I do, let them. In the meantime, I’ll just be doing what makes me feel good and what gives me little glimpses of happiness that I deserve—as I believe we all do. And maybe, maaaybee, some people will click with what I have to share. Maybe through that, it will help others find little glimpses of happiness too.
